I've sometimes gotten that but when you think about the dA economy, people don't really seem to want to buy anything that goes alot over 50 points... My first base (which contained sai psd and paint friendly versions mind you) was up for 100 points and like.. 2 people bought it. Then I lowered it to 30 after couple of weeks and people started buying it like crazy. Surely, lower prices in dA are nothing in real money but that's just what it is... At least if you actually want to make a profit. I personally would rather take many small payments than only 1 or 2 bigger payments.

thats totally true! but i'm not entirely about profits; i just want my bases to go to people who really want to use it (since you wouldnt spend money on something you wont use right?). that's just how i am i guess!
but i should really put some cheaper bases out there (my smallest base is also the cheapest and its sold like crazy, just like what you described) mostly for the convenience of others since i know a handful of folks that really like 'em
