sums up how i feel right now... got the cuts to prove it *is used to the feeling, just lives with it now*

this though is really good, it draws out emotion form the veiw, wither its gross, ro a sad and depressing emotion. the veiw can relate to it. i think almost all artists here can relate to it.
nice use of sybolisum as well, as if your passion is dimishing and fading away

I don't personally think it looks all that much like real blood. Believable, but not real. It also doesn't look all that sad or depressing to me...it reminds me more of having a period than cutting wrists. It's just a picture of a sink with red water in it.

This one is much better than the wrist one. It is open to interpretation and I like that. It's in your face and yet poetic at the same time.

Not bad, not bad at all.
Though I think if there were less water it would be better. All the water suggests a hiding a trying to wash away the blood. If I were to cut my self I would want to watch the blood pool and slowly go down the drain, not wash it away with water.
My depressed side can be really depressing, can't it?

I actually like this a lot...its a very simple picture with a complex subject matter. It can be read in SO many ways...the immediate guess woudl be suicide, as I can imagine thats what most people think...but what I see is someone washing the blood off their hands after having a promise broken and doing something about it.

My art teacher told me that shock value will definitely get my art looked at, but its pointless if it doesn't convey some kind of message or make the viewer think about the subject more...you've done this...you've posted a picture that inspires shocking emotions but may be referring to the simplest of ideals. Good job on NOT abusing the use of shock value.
