It is at least it is better than previous attempts, but I find still that I must squint a fair amount before it looks acceptable :/

I attempted this in Clip Studio and for this I used a hard "pen" brush and just adjusted the opacity with pressure sensitivity as well as changing the brush size manually in the program. I would have liked to have gotten a smoother effect than I did also the shadows have the look of the painting still being wet when I did them. Any ideas would be appreciated.
