Although the character in this image had a lot in common, when it comes to passion, with the red wizards, it was not consciously inspired by them I actually modeled for this one, a few photos gave me good reference. I'e wasted a lot of time trying to draw from imagination. This piece gave me a lot of confidence back then I am back to using references and models again.

Is he supposed to be some sort of modern red wizard (yes, I am referring to FR, so therefore I'm a nerd). The position looks very realistic, did you model, or have some to model for this image?
