Carol was out all day because of a certain cycle.While she was out, someone was nearby to protect her. Her sworn bodyguard, Zeke.
Initially it was Lee's job to protect Carol. But now that Modus Opera is formed, and Zeke was one of the last chosen few,
he reprises his role as my bodyguard.
You see, Zeke's nightmare in the previous timeline was the past (as opposed to Rove's nightmare, the future). This allowed him to meet historical figures and even became catalyst in history.
One of the pasts he managed to change, was mine.
When I was a kid, I... used to play with fire. Candles, specifically.
I burned tissues for fun.
I coulda messed up and burned the house down, but it was thanks to Zeke that that didn't happen. And because Zeke hopped back in time at the time, he seemed older than me, when in actuality we are classmates.
And that's how he gained the title of my bodyguard or even guardian angel.
