Darren:
He's the fifth and most recent potential love interest after what happened in the Backrooms.
Instead of Carol reaching out to him, it was Water, or Pitt.
Pitt also an eternal human being thanks to his magic thread, Darren finally has a match. A competitor.
Both of them will stay frenemies all the way to the end.

Daxem:
He's the second earliest potential love interest after Rove. That is, long before Rove became Carol's interdimensional twin.
It wasn't Carol who reached out to him, but instead Earth, or Hate.
Daxem and Hate having bonded in the past, Daxem vows to protect Hate and Hate doing the same back to him.
Both stoic and unaffected by darkness, they make quite a sturdy duo.

Pitt:
He's the fourth and supposedly current potential love interest since Modus Opera's initial stages.
We thought that Carol would come out this time, but it was actually Fire, or Stone.
Stone actually used to have a crush on Pitt, and clearly felt down when Carol made the moves on him.
Going through a lot together as close friends, Stone can overcome anything with Pitt by her side.

Simon:
He's the third potential love interest during a time before Modus Opera was conceived.
Simon slowly walked up to Modus, and Air leaped out to him. Carol.
Simon and Carol used to be the pair of another internet persona. Carol the creator and Simon the fan-favorite.
They've had rough patches as a couple, which led them to break up, but perhaps that's just how it is to love someone.

Carol has been pulled out of Modus, but we see that she'd wanna be alone with Simon for a while.
