His skin, pale as the wraiths of the Netherrealm, contrasts starkly with the long, obsidian hair that falls in a silent cascade to his waist. Aldarion was the last scion of the Shadowveil lineage, a family whose members were bound to the Arcane Sanctum, a nexus of ancient and potent magic. From a young age, Aldarion's potential was as clear as the crystal spires of the Sanctum. He was to be the protector of the realm's balance, a warden against the creeping chaos that lurked beyond the veil of reality.
