Hello there, I'd REALLY like to know waht you were thinking while making this and why you chose this combination of motives. Is it that they are said to be as intelligent as us? Is it to symbolize that we also could be the hunted species one day? Is it us thinking we rule over nature while actually being a part IN it? At least you know what I am thinking while looking at your work.

hey man, great question...
my idea came from the fact that all life originated from the sea so in fact we are descendants of aquatic creatures. dolphins actually have the remanence of finger bones in the flippers from a period they spent on the land before returning to the water.they also have a blow hole from this same period from when they actually breathed oxygen and continue to this day.so you observations are correct on many levels. it is about how we are all interlinked, about dolphins many human traits and humans forgotten link to nature and the connection we all share...
PS: i love the way you think, a great part of art is that you can make many of your own conclusions, keep dreaming

it is a great concept, I always thought dolphins are closer to humans than monkeys due to their emotions and intelligence (and the abilit to enjoy sex! XD)
The blue color scheme gives this a great, oceanic feel. Great work!
