It's been a couple of days since his passing, and it was still hard for me to sink this all in. It was truly devastating.

For a lot of kids growing up in the 90s, he was a childhood hero. I remember when me and my brother used to watch Mighty Morphin Powerrangers and idolized them. He was the second ranger from the OG lineup to leave us, since Thuy Trang (Yellow Ranger).

I also remember JDF went to MMA. He had a brand called "Jesus Didn't Tap". He even has a tattoo of it on his left lower arm. It opened me to that reality to never be afraid and be proud of your beliefs and own it as your own brand.

Farewell and rest in power, idol.
