Axtually where the realism is concerned it reminds me of the japanese realism style that you get in like the newest final fantasy games and movies etc, which started out in earlier games far more anime, so I quite like where that's come from and gone to.
I also lolled because last time I did figure studies a guy in my class turned every model into a manga character XD so it's totally opposite here.
Nice concept and excelled execution. Well deserved DD

is it because its a trend that lotsa artist nowadays prefered manga like style rather than the real one? i mean artists is free to do whatever style they want...its an art...

A lot of people start drawing in manga style, that's why you see more manga art than realism, also realism it's more difficult. So, no, it's not a trend.

yeap...i agree with u....but i honestly prefer manga style cuz its quite simple..and yeah somehow much more fun...but i do like realism too...but not all of em cuz its kinda complicated..but art has no boundaries...

This is brilliant at bringing across the concept! I myself am an art teacher and am always having to try and explain to students about the need for some basics before getting to carried away (not that we don't do a lot of anime too, but I do my best to encourage an equal amount of both)
