My newest favorite pairing. X3 ~ <3 <3 <3Seriously, GermanyxItaly is just too cute for words. Haha, it completely captured my heart, despite the fact I went into Hetalia dead-set on not getting into the yaoi (pfft, that didn't last long). XD; It's just..... really sweet. I like a lot of pairings, but there are few that really get to me, and this is one of them (the other being my OTP, EdgexRydia). There's just something.... special about it. Haha, I'm sure I sound crazy, considering they're fictional and all. XD
Anyway, more GerIta art WILL be coming. They kinda sparked an inspiration streak in me.

I love how Italy is cradled in his arms smiling with his curl in a heart shape, I especially love the look on Germany's face as if he's thinking "Oh Italy, what am I going to do with you..."

Adorable teehee. I was the same when I started watching Hetalia, I didn't like yaoi at all. But there is something about it, even though they're fictional they're based on some history and it gives their relationships more of a real feel, da? ^w^

Yeah, Hetalia yaoi just seems more legit, y'know? I mean, it actually has real basis (canon or historical), and the author really doesn't seem to mind, and even seems to be implying it. XD
I dunno; I've never had a problem whatsoever with yaoi, but Hetalia is the first series where I've liked it for the actual relationship, rather than the lulz. I mean, really, Gerita's become tied with my overall OTP. NEVER thought a yaoi pairing would rival my love for a het one. XD

Yeah lol, that's the same how I was. When I found Hetalia the relationships seemed more real. GerIta's really sweet it was my first favorite of the series hehe.

Haha, that's true; I've known about it for a long while now, but only recently got into it (ironically, it was the yaoi fanbase that kept me from looking into it earlier).
And, yeah, I'm super excited for them! I bought a set of eight (just to try them out), but obviously that's not nearly enough, so I ordered a bigger set. They really are amazing, so it'll be fun learning how to use them.

Haha, to be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be legit; most yaoi I've seen has a real flimsy basis (the guys involved are often canonly straight as well), since yaoi was never the creator's intention, so when I see a fandom with a lot of yaoi fans, I tend to take it with a grain of salt. The blatant, obvious yaoiness in APH is probably why it was so easy for me to convert (although, I do like plenty of APH het pairings). XD
Also, to be honest, this is the first yaoi pairing I've genuinely liked not just for the lulz.
