Description
I was ispired by Yoshitaka Amano's artworks of Terra. At first I wanted to just recreate it but as you can see I failed.I had a lot of fun painting it though.

I wasn't very satisfied with the way Terra's Esper form turned out at first.
I would fail too, if not for my brother's tips. Really? I'm sure it's not that bad. Plus you're extremely talented when it comes to digital drawings, something I fail at.

It's actually my second finished one. I did one a couple of years ago but it was so horrible I didn't bother to do more.
This time I have a better "equipment" and I've seen a couple of good watercolor paintings to inspire me.

But the bird thingy is what makes the piece very Amano-esque. He always loves to pair FF characters with random fanciful creatures for catching your eye and making you intrigued with the main subject.
Only thing, though, is Esper Terra's left hand seems to either be missing her thumb or it grew too long

At first I wanted to draw a bunch of those creatures around her, then I thought that painting Esper Terra would be a good idea.
Haha, you're right, it looks kind of awkward. The thumb is there, I remember drawing 5 fingers.

I'm relieved you think so! I figured ow to do the pattern on her dress quite quickly, but her Esper form's hair was such a pain to finish... at first I though I totally ruined the painting with it.
