Here's introducing the furry results of my first EVER trip into the world of computer programming. It was 198* and I had just received a BBC Basic running Acorn Electron for Christmas. I sat down in front of it and opened the book (ring bound) followed the title page , the index, the preface and then got to chapter one. Your First Program. I was overjoyed yet excited and visions of being left out because i did not own a ZX Spectrum 48K were temporarily ab. It went something like this

10 PRINT "Hello World!"
20 GOTO 10

I had hoped from AI for a list of Hello World! running down the left-hard-side of the page like it was on Acorn Electron which just carried on PRINTING until you pressed ESC but Dream UP had other ideas, art to OUTPUT which is rather reassuring that I did not receive a 'Syntax Error' or some such thing. AI has an answer.
