Description
This is docking between two spaceships. A basic maneuver once docked the two ships can share resources, crew etc. The domes are where the docking happens. In space docking can happen once the ships are in range. Day docking takes preference over night docking due to shifts clashing where twilight occurs. Two night ships cannot dock. Two day ships cannot dock. Thus a queue forms. Often a single night ship will dock with ten day ships in a single day such is the shortage of night ships. After docking the crews rotate to the mess halls for docking lunch. A ceremony is held honoring the night ship before trade takes place. In the evening entertainment is enjoyed by the crews not on docking duty.
