Aight, in preparation for Injustice Toons, I've decided to compile and look into XJ Negative's thing with Upgrading himself. Excluding the 2.0 Body there are about Three Upgrades (possibly Two idk) that Mayozilla has teased.
One was in a One-Off comic based on some Anastasia song (that I can't find), One was in a reference sheet of his modes, and the last one was for a quick epilogue for Return of the Toybots.
That last one is interesting because it possibly confirms two people in on the thing. Evil Quetzalcoatl guy, and Nora Wakeman.
Nora is Jenny's Mom and Neil (a nickname for XJN I came up with) is her EVIL Brother, which either means that she has some attachment to this thing she never got to fully finish, or there is something bigger pulling the strings.
Maybe a shady group of individuals lead by someone like Dr Machine (another OC who might be in Injustice Toons), Evil Quetzal guy, and/or Mickey Mouse (of all people) want Negative for their own Multiverse conquering game.

btw that thing on the left had to be slightly edited (smeared) in order to get rid of some of the crust from it being a sized-up JPEG.
