Under project "TANGUN" North Korea started a eugenics program to develop weaponized people to use against the enemies of the nation. Dr Cheong proposed that North Korea needed super powered human weapons, heroes or gods if you, will to protect their nation. Not having access to some of the newer technologies Dr. Cheong turned to mutation. She collected women from towns near radioactive test sights and studied their DNA until she found the potential she was looking for. She then mixed the DNA (forced the women to be used for sex and breeding) with viable male subjects approved by the north Korean government. once the Incubators were no longer useful their DNA was catalogued and they were destroyed, (they killed the parents to prevent the children from bonding to people, are reinforce the dependency to the state) Jeong-ja was the first viable product of the eugenics project. She was trained since birth to be an agent of North Korea and to only serve the state because "...the state made her and the state gave her life" regardless of her conditioning or her value to both the state and the project she was receiving unwanted visits from one of the overseeing generals. General Rhee enjoyed the young Jeong-ja's company and treated her as an adopted daughter until she reached the age of fourteen and her powers started to manifest. Generals Rhee's daughter died at fourteen in an accident and his attentions turned sour. She more powerful Jeong-ja became the more he resented her. Dr. Cheong tried to salvage her project by going over his head to let the state know what was going on. She was turned away. When she started looking deeper into the project she learned that Jeong-ja DNA did not match the source material. After digging through classified documents she found that Jeong-ja was a DNA match to General Rhee's deceased daughter. She went to find the now sixteen year old Jeong-ja only to find General Rhee on top of her, she activated the stun field used to incapacitate the test subjects and knocked them both unconscious, Dr. Cheong stole to test subject and ran away, making for the Chinese border. When he awoke General Rhee called for the Doctors execution saying she assaulted him to steal the project for the west.

They escaped to California after being on the run for a year, only to find out that North Korea has spies in America and that they did not have time to rest. Dr Cheong is acting as Jeong-ja's guardian. They are slowly making their way to Wisconsin so Jeong-ja who now uses the name Jihn Park can attend western college and be better socialized into the western world. General Rhee has created two other super agents using the research Dr. Cheong left behind and had come to America by way of Mexico and are currently cleaning house in California.
