Also known as the Secret Nickelodeon Splash, or something like that. This monkey-penguin hybrid would have been Pablo from Backyardigans dressed as Pablo Sanchez from Backyard Baseball. Two completely different fictional works of art that just happen to be named, "Pablo," have the word, "Backyard" in the franchise name, and being cute for similar reasons. So, I just had to do this one. Apparently, to complete this guy with a belly button sticking out of his shirt, I had to give him a monkey ancestor, and it just happens to be Boots, which is also Nickelodeon like Pablo from Backyardigans and knows Mexican Dialect Spanish, just like Pablo Sanchez. Could give him Aang's Airbender tattoos as a reference to another Nickelodeon franchise which begins with penguins and then features a primate throughout the rest of the series, but that's going too far. He probably knows American English too...to a point.

Truth be told, real blue penguins, the Fairy Penguins, come from New Zealand and are the smallest species of penguins in the world. Most true monkeys with prehensile tails, like the smallest breeds of monkeys in the world, are all over Amazon jungles, usually populated with Spanish speaking Latinos.

Sometimes, I like working with odd connections that were never meant to be. One of my oldest deviations for example features Griff from Red vs. Blue riding Pumbaa from The Lion King.
