For Doug--it's one of the best known scenes. At the New York Comic Con, someone was actually dressed up as Quail Man.

I'm surprised that there some people out there who remember that show!
Anyway, Aqua must be pretty upset that Ven ruined a possible romantic moment.

I got the Doug joke. I'm pretty sure that Ven won't survive the next few minutes. XD What? Making lasagna is hard!

I'll tell ya what you see! You see crap like "The Regular Show" and "Adventure Time" and "The Mighty B!" Well, back in the day, we had quality shows, like "Doug" and "Tom and Jerry!"
Well, at least some of those shows are still online...

Would that be the episode where Doug's sister Judy invites a boy over to the house and wants her family to act more interesting. Doug is made to be the butler, but decides to double as a secret agent, leading to this very scene where he 'warns' about the bomb in the lasagna (BTW, this really is a weird word) and doing a stage dive into the dinner?
Because if it is, then you're right, I totally don't get it.

I do what I can. If you need me to get another 'obscure' cartoon reference explained, call me on this sponge (hands over sponge)...
