this one was supposed to be my New Year's KH special but I'm leaving for the Tanjay province in a little while and there's no technology down there so I decided to post this one early.The dialogue probably makes me sound like a hater but its meant to be read by Vanitas lol

My bet is this for the at least 90% of the second part of KH3D:
Lea returns, but he has absolutely no memories of the last 10 years. He is just the kid BBS Lea in Axel's body. Sora and Riku realize that the only way to fix this is to bring back the 3 people who were most influential in Axel's 10 years of life.
They first start with bringing back Roxas. Roxas is Axel's best friend and should re-spark the memories of Axel in Lea. The problem is that they need to stabilize Roxas into the real world. That is where the Data Ansem the Wise comes in.
After Roxas re-sparks Lea's memories, Sora and Riku Realize that Lea's memories are all over the place and need someone to organize and reconnect all the memories. Who better than Namine, the 2nd person that chanced Axel's life to fix his memories? They use the Data Ansem the Wise left behind to do so.
Now Lea's memories are getting back to normal, but all the chains can't be completely fixed. This causes problems in Lea again and Sora, Riku, Namine and Roxas have to figure out the missing piece in this puzzle (Xion). Sora recalls that during the 1st part of the Exam, Xemnas would drop hints about his knowledge of Xion. He is a master of memory manipulation and could make it so that he would not forget Xion unlike the other people in 358/2 days. Sora and Riku retrace Xemnas's steps and find data about Xion along the way. They eventually find the right memories that created Xion in Sora, stabilize her with Ansem the Wise's data, and Lea along with everybody else finally remembers Xion.
Lea, Roxas Namine and Xion are saved from their suffering!
(Terra, Aqua, Ven and Ansem the Wise will be saved in Kingdom Hearts 3)
