Huh. Thrown down a waterfall eh? I'd hate (and by that I mean love) to see how she teaches him to fly.
My guess is the Abridged!Piccalo method.

Well, I've got good news and bad news.
The good news is that I have some advice for you. Buy the Vanish skill at the arena shop, and just spam Shotlocks at him. I've found Bio Barrage to be most effective. Also, try to get all of your support ablities unlocked, like the different element screens and HP boosts.
The bad news is that on the 'Keepers of the Arena' challenge (the one that gets you the UC) not only do you have to fight him again at the halfway point, but at the end you have to fight Iron Imprisoner 4.
Still, same advice applies. And keep at it. A lot of the fight is just skill and luck.
