Six months ago, a singular imperative possessed me and drove me into a mad frenzy. I had to draw Mag's face. For three days, I locked myself in my room, filling page after page of sketches. Six months later, I finished what I started.

Mag's face needed to be a mixture of things, most of them contradictory. The hardest was mixing sharp, predatory features with the softness and approachability of an egirl. On top of this she had to be cool, remote, and exotic, yet believably the brains behind a high-stakes operation.
