It was almost an hour into Rebecca's rampage, by now almost anyone left in the city was either in her stomach or smeared on the pavement. The few that weren't were relieved to see the tanks roll in and the planes overhead. "You're sending in the military on me? Cute that you think you have a chance." Rebecca sneered. The first plane got close enough to begin firing on her but the bullets just disappeared into her pale skin without so much as a mark. Rebecca saw her chance, the plane was low for its strafe. She ran towards it, each footstep sending tremors through the city and cracking the pavement under her bare feet. She jumped into the air and grabbed it out of the sky, then slammed back onto the ground with immense force. "You're just little flies buzzing around my head." she said. She considered the plane in her hand, then looked directly at the approaching forces and put her other hand on her hip. She crushed the plane like a tin can and let it drop to the ground. "Still want to try me? I wouldn't blame you for running away, I'm pretty scary." Rebecca goaded. As if on queue, the encroaching forces opened fire in full. Shells exploded against her skin, sending ripples across it but still not making a dent. She sighed "You bugs just don't learn do you? You can't hurt me with those little things. But I can definitely do some damage." She pulled her leg forward and poised her foot above the closest tank. The treads shifted to reverse but had not yet started moving when she slammed her toes down on top of it, crushing it flat. She moved her foot back and forth, grinding the metal against the ground and spilling the blood of the paste that used to be its crew. "Just a step and I can crush all of you underfoot. Can't you see how tiny and weak you are; Or do I have to flatten every last one of you? Not that I mind having more toys to play with." She said. The military continued their assault regardless. Rebecca reached down and picked up another tank. "I'm going to need a snack if you guys keep this up." She ripped the turret off like it was nothing, flinging it away. She put the hole up to her mouth and tipped it towards her waiting maw. One of the soldiers fell and was quickly swallowed, the rest were more stubborn. She stuck her tongue in the hole, it squished against the metal, filling the space and probed around for the terrified soldiers. Her tongue emerged with three more soldiers glued to it by her saliva. She tossed the empty shell aside and swallowed overdramatically, making sure everyone around could hear the sound of their comrades' acidic doom. "That's a bit better, I could eat more but it's easier just to squash you." Rebecca said. In a matter of minutes the battlefield was a mess of crumpled metal in foot-shaped craters or spiderwebs of cracked pavement.
