Description
The people of Devalde have been burning witches accused of cursing young women for centuries. The irony is that there is no witch. Long ago the real witch was put on trial and as a final parting gift she cursed the town so that several months after they burn a so called witch, she returns as a giant demon. Already disdainful towards the town, the curse only enhances their rage and they find themselves all too happy to take their revenge. The next morning, the terrified townsfolk wake up to the half-eaten corpses of the night guard and the piles of timber that used to be a neighbor's house, only to point fingers at someone else and repeat the cycle.
