It was late at night when Idira literally bumped into one of her maids in the hallway. She was running quickly and dropped a rather naughty looking book.

Stepping back to apologize, "Sorry your highness! I wasn't watching..." She was finally clear-headed enough to realize that the form her mistress took was not the one she was used to seeing. It was definitely Princess Idira, but she was purple, with horns and wings, characteristic of a demon.

"Oh dear, and I really liked you too. It's a shame you had to see this, hun. Because I can't exactly let you tell anyone." Idira said a little sadly.

"Princess please! I won't tell anyone! Be reasonable!" She pleaded.

"Sorry, but I can't take that chance." Idira said, her hands glowing with purple magic. She laid a hand on her maid's shoulder who immediately shrank to the ground, letting out a mouselike scream. "There, you won't be telling anyone like that."

The maid did the only thing she could think do: run. She got a few steps before a gigantic purple foot slammed the ground in front of her, blocking the way and throwing her back. "Sorry but you're not getting away. I have plans for you." Idira said. She caught the tiny maid between the toes of her other foot, raising her high off the ground, and transferring her to her fingers. "How else do you think I keep the other demons pacified? They love the pets I train."
