It was an otherwise uneventful trip to get water from the spring when a blinding flash of light shot out of the trees at you and your friends.

"This forest is dangerous; You really should be more aware of your surroundings" a voice from above sarcastically warned as a shadow fell over you. Suddenly you were trapped in between massive walls. It took you a second to realize that these were the legs of your ambusher.

"It's usually such a pain to catch humans but you guys walked right into my trap." she teased

"Why are you doing this? Aren't you a human too?" You desperately called trying to find a way out.

"Don't compare me to yourselves. You're nothing but a snack anymore. I'll let you be the first of your friends to learn why you are nothing to a witch."
