Description
I took a job from the guild to hunt a sorcerer who holed up in a nearby dungeon, pretty standard fare. The dungeon felt off, almost as if gravity was reduced, I could jump higher than I was tall and fell too slowly. I carried on regardless, hacking through demons and other summoned monsters. As I reached the bottom floor of the dungeon the gravity got even weaker and I heard a laugh from above.
"So they finally think I'm scary enough to send someone after me." she said from seemingly nowhere, echoing around the empty halls. I finally spotted her floating high above, lounging on the air itself. I jumped, aided by the low gravity and swung my axe but she simply floated to the side leaving me floundering in the air, floating down slowly.
"Interesting attempt, so you've caught on to the gravity I see." she teased and I suddenly crashed to the ground. "Well so have I." I tried to get up but my arms felt like they were nailed to the ground. She chanted something above me and my body went cold, but the gravity was lessening. When I could finally move again I spun around to hit her with my axe and found it short, dozens of feet short. She floated above me like a goddess and I realized I had been shrunk.
"You look like a fun guinea pig for my new spells." she said as I was grabbed and squeezed a hand bigger than me. It pressed some sort of red energy into me, as it cracked bones, then left me with the pain, floating in mid air. She blew backwards leaving me by her feet and skillfully scooped me up between her sandal and her toes. Trapped and with no other option I swung my axe at them; they didn't yield at all to the blade.
"Oh how cute, you thought that toothpick could hurt me." She scrunched her toes, crushing my chest and forcing me deeper into her sandal. "Now kiss my feet and I might let you off easy for trying to kill me." she threatened, uncharacteristic of her previous playfulness. I refused and she leaned forward, then dropped onto the ground hard. "I'm sorry I thought I told you to kiss them" she said. Before I had a chance to, she stomped hard and leaned into me, pressing me into her sole with a force I had a feeling should have killed me. I quickly planted a kiss on her big toe and was flung up into the air as she leaned back and started floating again.
"Now was that so hard? Keep it up unless you want to be turned into paste. That spell I cast on you will make you durable, not indestructible."
