Description
October 19, 2107 - Mars. The Defense/Security Conglomerate, or DSC, is working around the clock to produce new robots to protect their planet, both offensively and defensively. With so many threats, a strong robotic military is the best form of protection. But sometimes, protection comes in the form of attack - and that is a perfect summary of the Invader class robot. This massive quadruped is one of DSC's most efficient models, and has been mass produced, a task made difficult by the many resources, and the great quantity OF said resources needed to finish making one. And this problem is currently being faced by the workforce of ED504, an engineering/robot production dome near Mar's south pole. Distant from most large cities, and very difficult to enter or leave, rations for the workers and materials for the robots are not frequently delivered, but when they are they come in large quantities.
Fortunately, this month's shipment has arrived just as the dome receives an order for another Invader class. They get to work right away, welding, drilling, hardwiring, etc. As they work, smaller vehicles arrive - their ration trucks. Combined, they contain enough to last the dome around two months - but they must be conserved nonetheless.
Around a week later, the robot's base, its head, has been finished. A few more finishing touches are needed, including large protective shields around the bottom, one of which is being lowered to the ground now, where it will be welded to the robot's side. On a small mountain to the left, a radiotower has been installed so ED504 can transmit/intercept messages to and from other DCS domes. And soon, they will send a new message - a message of the Invader's completion.
This was what I believe to be my 4th artpiece based off the game War Robots developed by Pixonic. Chances are I'm gonna make some more.
