Description
Was out for a ride on the motorbike last Saturday Evening and saw this field and just thought wow. So went back with the camera gear on the next suitable evening.Location: Creaton, Northamptonshire.

oh my you had to wait that long for the weather? I have been known to go home and get the camera and go back right away but now that im smarter I take my camera whenever i step out of the house.

It was more a case of the RIGHT kind of conditions, I could have gone the next day but I wanted the best light possible. I work not far from this field so every day I would have my camera gear in the car and keep my eye on the weather when leaving work. So that thursday evening I thought this looks promising..

Hmm.. the poppy field exposure is great, but everything above it has really low contrast.. You might want to beef it up a bit, push highlights/midtones, because right now it's not looking as real.
Really nice though! You must have been pretty excited to have a photo of so many poppies!
