So things have been going... A way certainly!

After Nao'Xiu forcefully returned their memories back to them over the last couple of months of the dnd campaign, the realization of just who Gao was to them hit them like a sack of bricks. Not only their childhood companion, but best friend, and betrothed, forced to forget through a mages machinations. Unfortunately however, these realizations REALLY come too late as he is still, as was previously stated, working for the 'evil faction' at this point. However it hasn't stopped Nao from getting involved in things dangerously.

Nao has been politically manuvering the landscape of antagonists, villains, and corporate overlords in this hellish setting to get closer to Gao, much to the suffering of their friends who are at the recieving end of the backlash. Their Dragon (and the creature they were sold to), Ryu, has been equally a target that Nao has been very forward to protect individuals from tampering with, but even he ended up getting hurt in the aftermath.

Well it all came to a head as they let down their guard at a key point and Gao used it to take out a goal on one of their friends. This however had cataclysmic shockwaves in their still concieved relationship. Nao and Gao ended up talking for once instead of trying to outwit one another (shocking behavior) and actually overcame several hurdles. Realizing key things about one another they had never realized. How much Gao was in pain with certain actions Nao did, and in turn, how terrified Nao actually is with him being gone and losing him.

However, the unfortunate reality is making Gao question his loyalty to this organization with Nao in frustration and this relationship is equally as dangerous probably for him, in many unseen ways, as he is desperate to hold onto the magical power they had given them and simply couldn't imagine being at the will of the people who abused him into wanting to do this to begin with again. Nao explains that he wouldn't be, that he would have them and their friends, but that greed for power and control clouds his brain, as we have learned these individuals are being made more aggressive through whoever their leader is infusing them with their 'Shadows' (some Kingdom Hearts nonsense). So that's an issue to overcome.

Regardless, we are now at the climatic finish of the month, where another member of this organization named Alice has brought us into her 'Twisted wonderland' nightmare scape. Unfortunately, there are very strong hints that Gao is in here as well after all this development, and if thats the case, we will see this upcoming week if Gao has truly managed to overcome a hurdle and slips up with his support in the organization, or if to the contrary it was more lies, and he's learned nothing.

Guess well see! Being in love with an antagonist is awful! Help!

Either way I shall draw an update eventually because I'm sure what ever happens is going to drive me crazy
