Just some quick doodles I managed for this wonderful occasion! More than half a decade of giant monster mania in all it’s varieties from the cinematic to animatic and even in graphic novel format, I cherish these monsters and the genre deeply. And I hope this can be one of innumerable fun bits for fellow Godzilla fans to enjoy

Regarding all the king of the monsters foes, Gigan may be both the most bizarre and intimidating, making for a great dichotomy within it’s villainous character! For his little redesign I leaned heavily into the “space chicken” vibes once I realized just how intimidating an angry rooster can be. Adding on a sense of extra serration to not only the his hook hands and buzzsaw belly, but putting in extra jaws and switch blade like utility to his beak/ horns as well. I see him as a hyper aggressive death dancer of sorts, but also a glass cannon a bit. Bopping in and out of direct battle and striking at opportune moments.

Godzilla was a bit less drastic in this new take but no less fun! It’s always been an effort to try and retry Godzilla as a theropod, while also considering the body features of certain marine reptiles. His true dorsal spikes are protected by ice like growths that can break off and stab into other opponents in a similar vain to porcupine quills. Despite his more animistic stands, make no mistake; This Godzilla would be more than clever enough to strategize. From unwavering defenses, to decisively devastating attacks!

everything on the side is either little bits to figure out the respective monsters anatomy, or takes on some of their canon appearance's. Thank you for your time!
