Character: Matthias T.Radke/Werebelushi In The Shades.
Info: A monster comedian and reviewer/ranter who isn't afraid to bite back when it comes to sarcasm, insults, quips and explosive comebacks as well as rants in general...with the appearance and voice of the late John Belushi as well as his own set of unique traits, this guy may come across as being a crass brute on his show but he is much smarter than he looks. He is very much a nod to insult comedians and can be considered one himself, you wouldn't want to doublecross him or piss him off. Things that turn him off include being vilified for opinions, stereotypes of overweight characters where it just focuses on their body and their butt being their only character traits, bad media of any kind, people who mess with his friends, stupid accusations,
Influences:
- John Belushi. Basically how Belushi is in the Weekend Update skits on SNL.
- Gilbert Gottfried.
- Hades (Hercules).
- Betelgeuse (Beetlejuice).
- Andrew Dice Clay.  Much like how Andrew has 'Dice' as his persona, the angry/brash critic known as 'Werebelushi' is Matthias's alter-ego and when he does his show he acts like as an aggressive and brash type but outside of the show he is nice and a genuinely passionate person, it's just that he hates having to point out that 'Werebelushi' is just a character and that he'd never actively threaten anyone.
- Erod/Blockbuster Buster.
- John Goodman in any of his performances but especially in Barton Fink, the Big Lebowski and a few others. Angry John Goodman is the inspiration for most of the Werebelushi's berserk side.
- Matt Foley (SNL). He has quite a bit in common with this character except of course he doesn't live in a van down by the river, but he still channels a bit of Matt Foley in his rants. He channels a lot of Chris Farley actually including Bennett Brauer, he's aware that he's schlubby and he isn't 'photo-genic' and that he 'has hair on his chest, face, arms and hands and stomach and doesn't bother to shave' and that he 'scares the neighbors'. He's just that kind of guy.
- Meat Loaf. The way he sings and how theatrical he tends to be mirror the scene.
- Anger (Inside Out)
- Jack Black. A lot of his song performances are reminiscent of his.
- Brad Jones/Cinema Snob.
- Eric Cartman (South Park).
- Comic Book Guy (The Simpsons).
- Dennis Miller.
- George Constanza (Seinfeld).
- Jack Nicholson especially his performances in A Few Good Men, Batman, The Shining, Witches Of Eastwick, Anger Management and As Good As It Gets.
- Sam Kinnison.
- Glenn Shadix. Sassy/sardonic Werebelushi is very much like Glenn's characters, very much in the same vein as Otho Fenlock and other smiliarily sassy characters Glenn has played.
- Deadpool (Marvel).
