Of bugs and demons : Balor
A series I had in mind when looking at the design of the demons in dungeon's and dragons.
My goal for this series is to switch tings up a bit :

The demons that look like bugs will look more demonic and the one's that don't will be given an insect motif!
For the Balor I mixed up his natural armor into a Carapace and endowed him with some elemental flavor (since he does burst into flames upon taking damage and dying) with some mandibles on top of that.
The lightning sword and flame whip were at first meant to be part of his body, but I decided to only do it for the whip.
