First Spirit Edit Normally wouldnt do things like these but It was a change of pace. Im working on another piece but its been taking me a while to complete. I needed a break from that haha. This piece is to also help me out a little to share my story with Spirit.

As a young girl very very young girl before there was spirit i had theses cartoon horse books that helped me start drawing. I was determined to great at it. I would run up to my mom with the books in my hand and tell her I wanted to draw like the illustrator for the. My mom told me "You can do whatever you put your mind to." With those words I worked diligently to do so. Was not easy at first. Then one evening after preschool my mom and dad took my brother and I to the neighborhood movie theater. I dont know why I remember all of this but I ask my mom what we were going to go see she said we are gonna go see a movie about a horse! In my mind I had thought the movie would be realistic. Boy was I wrong. My eyes lit up as the theme song rolled in at the opening scene. I was on the edge of my seat in awe.

After the movie was done I was so sad because I wanted more! I can hands down say Spirit is my favorite movie ever and will be forever. My heart went on full bast mode when it came to drawing. I think I annoyed my parents with it but my mom took notice to my fast developing skill and so did my teachers. Every worksheet had a horse. Everything was about horses. If I could do an assignment about horses I took the opportunity. My parent teacher conferences went pretty well. As most of my teachers didnt mind it.

Whenever the DVD came out for Spirit. My mom of course grabbed it. After that I think I annoyed everyone in my family about it. Always watching it back to back. Its carved into my head and heart. When I found the "How To Draw Spirit" in the special features you can probably guess what happened hahaha. Since then my drawing passion has been my life! As well as horses!

Spirit has touched many people's hearts and I believe spirit. Has opened many paths to young artist, even today.

To give everyone a estimated age I started drawing was when I was about 4 or 5 years old. Born in 1997 and Spirit came out 2002 ! I cant wait to pass Spirit down to my daughter when I get kids.

Anyways hope you enjoy Talon in Spirit Style!
