Alternate ending where Naruto and Sasuke go off travelling together, after they have recovered from their injuries. Now that they have finally expressed their feelings, they decide to leave the village together.

Naruto wants to spend time getting to know Sasuke better. He wants to understand him; his philosophy, what's deep inside his heart and soul.

There will be much talking long into the night, and companionable silences where they just sit quietly, happy in each other's company.

They will take their time and wander about to different places and share many new experiences. Two free spirits, just as they should be. Not shackled to anything or anyone.

Sakura works at the hospital as Tsunade-Sama's assistant. She is working and studying hard. She excels as a medic; not only because she is intelligent and quick, but also because of her bright, cheerful and compassionate nature. Kakashi is Hokage, but how long that will last is another matter... all that paperwork is soooooo boring! He doesn't like paperwork at all!

I love all these characters so much! ♥ I only wished that they'd all had a better 'ending' than they did. One of freedom and enlightenment, instead of stifling, forced, conventional relationships and situations and everyone being OOC, unrecognizable and miserable.
Which is why I drew this. THIS was the ending I wanted ♥

This took a very long time to draw. I used pencil on Bristol board, then ms paint for the text x
