What if Vitani had a mate?

I thought for a long time about a mate for Vitani and the common ship tropes I didn’t liked, until I used a crackship generator and got this pairing; Badili x Vitani, and it clicked!

During the early days of Vitani’s Lion Guard before Kion’s return, she would have continued difficulty with poachers creeping in from the backlands, even with the Royal Guard’s assistance, they couldn’t catch the poachers sneaking in. One afternoon, Vitani is patrolling and trying to track down a lone poacher, when she found them cornering a young serval mother and her kits.

Just before she could swoop in and stop the confrontation, a roar and a swoop of fur came in and bowled the poacher over, and that would be Badili. He chased the poacher out and was thanked by the young mother and her kits.

Vitani was impressed by Badili’s courage, and they would encounter each other quite often on Vitani’s various porder patrols with the Guard until together with Badili they found a secret entrance from the Backlands allowing the poachers to get in undetected into the Pridelands. Thanks to Badili’s great contributions to helping the poacher problem, he was awarded the honorary title of Baron.

It wasn’t until Kion’s return and the newly reformed Royal Guard, that Badili joined and became a member of it, which led to frequent and numerous meetings with Vitani, and she found herself slowly but surely falling for the sweet natured and selfless leopard. Surprisingly, it was Vitani who would later confess her feelings towards Badili that they entered the next phase in their relationship.

Vitani and Badili have three kids of their own, with two adopted cubs they found after a rogue had killed their family. They’re a very happy couple and family.

Who was Nala’s Dad?

Jabari (meaning brave, fearless) was one of the sons’ of the nobility of the Ndona Pride. He was the third son of a Lord in the council, and was quite a mischievous and playful cub in his youth, getting into numerous adventures resulting in small cuts and bruises. He would have become apart of the Lion Guard as the Bravest if he wasn’t so clumsy, instead he trained to become a mentor in the Royal Guard.

Sarafina’s family came from a long line of Lady-in-waiting’s for the royal family and had served them for countless of years. As Sarafina was Sarabi’s Lady-in-Waiting, when Sarabi was betrothed to Mufasa, Sarafina had a choice in her betrothal too.

Between her and Sarabi, she chose Jabari, as Jabari and Sarafina were friends throughout their cubhood and already had a good friendship together. They would later have Nala together, before Jabari would mysteriously go missing during the beginning of Scar’s reign, and had never been seen since.

Who is Tama’s Eldest?

Tama was born to a lower class nobility family, who worked as esteemed Hunters. She had a decent cubhood until the supposed deaths of Simba and Mufasa, having being to be put into vigorous training to support the Prideland’s newcomers; the Hyenas. Tama would find herself becoming a renowned hunter, and impressing the council and upper class countless times, even gaining the acknowledgement of King Scar.

Later on down the line, Tama would actually become good friends with the Crown Prince at the time; Mheetu, and their friendship would later grow stronger when Mheetu found himself perilously exiled from the Pridelands. Tama, Mheetu and a few of the other male lions who found themselves in increasing danger everyday from Scar’s paranoia fled as well to find refuge in the Grasslands.

They have only one child together which is Tiifu, who becomes a Lady-in-Waiting to Kiara as a cub, later marrying Nuka as an adult.

Who is Malka’s Eldest?

Malka was a Crown Prince of the Masamba Pride in the Grasslands, he was a good cubhood friend of Simba, when he got lost on a royal trip to the Pridelands with his mother Queen Mandisa. He was devastated at the news of his friend’s death and mourned him for a period of time.

When his cubhood friends came seeking refugee during Malka’s teens, he graciously accepted and was mortified by what they had discovered. His mother and father took the time to gain alliances together to overthrow the tyranny of Scar, but just before they could take action, Simba had returned and reclaimed his rightful throne.

Malka would remain Crown Prince for many years before his mother passed down the throne happily to her son when he had wed. And his beloved was one of the former outlanders lionesses.

When the Pridelands and the Outlands united as one, some of the former outlanders wished to move onto to new prides as even so their birthplace held troubling memories during Scar’s reign. The lionesses who sought their new places was Dalilah (weak), Githinji (a butcher), and Kame (desolate) in the Grasslands, (otherwise known as Dotty, Spotty and Lazy-Eye). The three sisters integrated surprisingly well, finding themselves at peace for the first times in their lives.

Unbeknownst to Kame, Malka had found himself hopelessly in love with her, when he was tasked with other lions of his pride to help the sisters to fit in. He admired her strength and courage despite her blindness in one of her eyes, and loved her spicy spirit.

They become close friends, with Kame eventually opening up to the horrors of her cubhood and growing up as a soldier in Zira’s army, with Malka comforting her greatly. The two eventually become even closer, with Kame realising herself that she could picture the rest of her life together with Malka. Kame would be given the new name of Maha (beautiful eyes) by Malka as she had finally let go of her past.

Both of them would later marry and take on their titles of rulers when Queen Mandisa retired. They have a few cubs together, with their eldest being their cherished daughter; Crown Princess Zawadi (meaning gift). Zawadi is an gentle and wise lioness, adored by her pride and family, as well as being a great ambassador of her pride. She is best friends with Naba, Aisha and Shani from the Pridelands.
