Celebrations: Burn-time (like one would celebrate spring as new beginnings, to them Burn-time, the hottest most dangerous season; gives them renewal and bountiful food)
Main Deity: Light
Pass-time is fire dancing with ropes, hoops, or sticks on rope using flammable tar.
Mostly hairless (some hair often singed), they sleep on furs to keep warm, extremely hardy creatures.
Flame retardant oils are soaked into the hair (Created by a special kind of plant, similar to a succulent), and flammable tar painted onto spikes and horns - to set fire to them.
For ceremonial purposes, like celebrations and worship of the light Deity.
To them Light and fire is the bringer of life, their trees seed after burntime, only cracking open during the extreme heat of that season. Burn-time also petrifies and dries many foods that they collect and eat.
Their homes have ornate glass designs that are nigh unbreakable, having harnessed the harsh sands with their fire to create.
They are experts in knowing which sands on the continent give different results from texture to colours and density.
They harness fire using Tar pits, that is both flammable yet healing substance. The Tar used has special microbes that thrive in heat, and eat bacteria on surfaces. When set on fire it is like a hot treatment, the surface burns but the base near the skin heats to safe temperatures, due to it's density.
It has also been used to purify and cook foods to ensure safety to eat without sickness.
The Tar also has strange properties that nullify poisons, which is excellent for healing from any wayward bites from a creature.
Due to this, the Dhu are able to eat usually quite poisonous plant life without misshap.
