I like the lamps. and I like it's hair - and tail - tips, it's much what it was supposed to look like - turning progressively to some shadowy mist.
I'll work further on on this concept, so there are probably some more shades drawings coming on sooner or later
No comments about the backround, I'm a l00ser, I know.
Medium: photoshop, and a pencil sketch though.
Time taken: a day for the lineart, a day for sketching, a couple of days for coloring...
Claimer: the shade is mine!

I love the lighting & shading, the colors are amazing, and I just adore all those tiny details
Ans what do you mean by saying you're a l00ser??? I like the background, and I guess it fits well enough as to where your Shade might be lurking around!! ^_^ At least you know how to put backgrounds, unlike me 
And the fading tail & hair endings to misty was a nice touch!! It shows how the shade should be

This is AWESOME!!! I loved the line art but didn't fav it cuz I knew the colored version would be AMAZING!!! you baffle me babe! The concept is awesome and I love the colors and the way her hair fades out like that and the lamps are really cool too!!
