Yeah, I don't even know what kind of flower this is. Just thought it looked cool. Kind of messed up the shot since lighting was poor (it was in Seattle [bad enough] and it was getting late in the evening [even worse] and I despise flash [my fault? nah.])

Kind of played with the colors a bit in Adobe Camera Raw, but I think the ultimate result was it looks like I just adjusted the temperature down a bit...

Yeah, I'm an amateur photographer who becomes avid when it suits me, which it does on vacation (gives me an excuse to not talk and seem like a creeper; two birds in one very nice stone. also incorporates a bit of art, which is always wonderful.)
