Leif is a 16 year old cis boy who despises gender roles with all his might. He just wants to like what he wants without people judging him or trying to tell him he's trans because he likes "girly" things. He's become withdrawn due to being teased for his interests, and the closest thing he has to a friend is a black cat he feeds everyday. But . . . this cat isn't normal in any sense of the word. It exhibits a level of intelligence and understanding that exceeds any cat Leif's ever known, and he could swear he's caught glimpses of a second pair of eyes above the first. Despite this, Leif's become fond of the cat, even naming it Shad after his dead uncle.
