"I don't see you around anymorrrrre." Firework protested. "It's like you're avoiding me."Dusk Star gave him a apologetic expression. "I'm just really busy - I don't have much time for anything when I'm-"
"Following the princesses around and making eeeeverypony happy?"
"Don't make fun of what I do. It's important to Equestria."
"I'm not making fuuun. I just know that if you spend too much time away..." Firework pulled Dusk closer. "You might get snatched up by some handsome stallion that isn't me."
This made Dusk turn a shade of rose pink on his blue fur. "I-I am not looking for anypony!"
"C'mon, Duskie...can't you at least admit you want to hang out with me?" Firework pulled him closer.
"That has nothing to do with l-l-liking anypony!"
The two stallions were nearly cheek-to-cheek now, and Dusk was completely uncomfortable with the proximity. But a small part of him was tempted to stay this close to the bold stallion, so he made no sudden moves.
"I want us to hang out properly, Duskie. Just you and me. Whaddya say?"
I had fun making this situation.
