This was my cosplay for Animazement 2010. I went as Fai D. Flourite from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. This is the only good picture I have of the staff, which fell apart after two days. That's what I get for holding it together mostly with duct tape. And I spent 10+ hours on that thing, too.

Made of PVC pipe, hard foam, craft foam, copper wire, glass gems, and paper, with fishing line to hold the crystal in place.
