I can finally show my latest art done for IMAGINEFX magazine issue 83 special SCIFI art!"paint sci-fi art on anEPIC SCALE"
it goes with a full tutorial as well
People ask me a lot about "how do I do it?"
so here is an answer for you!
there's a ton of work in this one , so be sure to get it!
you might learn a thing or two with the video that I recorded of my process in the included DVD...not to mention some custom brushes...

a little background story for all scifi story lovers out there:
"this ship is leaving for a dangerous journey deeper into a strange nebula , where some alien activity were detected 10 years ago...this ship was specially build for that mission...
it's called "BEHEMOTH" and was build to face any dangerous radiations or danger it could encounter..."

this is definitely badass..but i feel maybe some inspiration of the pillar of autumn when it left reach? take a look if you don't know what i mean. a lot of color similarities and angle of the ship and big blue engines on the back.

I had this type of comments for a previous image that I did called:lost fleet:dreadnough
as I stated then, there's nothing HALO in that one and I even didn't played reach...there's not only HALO in science-fiction and I think that ION engines will be common and have that color tint...so sorry ,no HALO at all.

...i'm not sure why you're acting so offended by my comment. i clearly did not state THIS HAD TO DO WITH HALO! HALO IS ALL SCI_FI! CREDIT GOES TO HALO...that's ignorant and insulting for you to to suggest. there are striking similarities. that's a fact. whether you care to see it or not. i never discredited your picture. i never even spoke badly of it. in fact i think it is amazing work. you sir, need to lighten up. change your pants. grab more coffee. take an afternoon nap. i don't care. i made a note of what i saw. i think interpretation is made to each their own. i related something i know. and you take offense immediately. rather childish actually.

that's because you weren't in my shoes when I had tons of comments about HALO on a previous image
it seems that when there is a spaceship and blue reactors ,people come to tell me how it's close to HALO...and that pisses me off because science-fiction is so wide and vast ,and some people only knows about halo...
also I just wanted to be clear once and for all that HALO is not a source of inspiration to me AT ALL,that's it

well..you attacked me as if i was a clear ignorant motherfucker...no, sorry, i am not. clearly the genre expands far beyond that of halo, star wars, star trek, stargate, firefly, etc. etc. etc. wherever you draw your inspiration from..so be it. i simply made note of a smilarity in the picture from a certain scene in that particular game..whether i'm a huge fan of the franchise or not. i appreciate your work. i hope to see more of it. so far every piece is phenomenal from what i can tell.
