Make sure that you apply at least 9 layers of papier-mâché to your ball. I recommend you do this in at least 2 bursts, leaving 1-2 days to dry after each burst. If you're using a rubber ball, don't leave it out in the sun to dry, like I did. The heat will cause your ball to expand and rupture your papier-mâché creation with unpredictable consequences, and varying degrees of repairability. D:
