Adorably Precocious Child: Maria is quite smart for being only 14 years old.
Affectionate Nickname: When he was younger, Wakko couldn't fully pronounce Maria's full name yet, but he calls her "Mari" for short. He still calls her this to this day. Yakko also calls her "Ria".
All Periods Are PMS: In the 2020 revival, Maria eventually had gotten her first period and was moody. To make her feel better, Yakko did tried to joke about it, which ended badly, but props for him to try.
Beserk Button: DO NOT mess with the Warners in front of her, let alone her other animal friends.
Big Sister Instinct: Is this towards Wakko, Dot, Mindy & Skippy.
Calling The Old Man Out: Maria was brutal when she did this towards King Salazar near the end, even he was surprised.
Childhood Friend Romance: Maria and Yakko had eventually meet when they where around Dot's age. When her mother was sick and in the hospital, Yakko eventually began to developed feelings for her. It got even stronger in the events of Wakko's Wish & the two finally became a couple in the epilogue, sharing a Big Damn Kiss at the end.
Cool Big Sis: Maria sees Hello Nurse as this.
Dreaming Of Things To Come: In Wakko's Wish, Maria wishes to become a big time actress. She finally becomes a stage actress in the end.
Embarrassing Middle Name: Or rather Embarrassing last name. Her last name is Scratchansniff and is somewhat embarrassed by it.
Family Addresses Privilege: Her grandfather calls her Maria while the Warners sometimes either calls her Ria or Mari.

Jerkass To One: While Plotz has a softer side to her, Maria doesn't get along well at ALL with King Salazar, given that he has a history with her parents, mainly her father.
Malicious Misnaming: Reversed Role, but Salazar had called Yakko her "Boyfriend" even though the latter had yet to tell his feelings towards her.
Nice Girl: Maria's very sweet and can get along with just about anyone.
One Head Taller: Her best friend, Yakko towers her as being the taller one.

Raised By Grandparents: After the death of her father when she was Dot's age, Maria's mother had been left to raise her with the help of her grandfather, until her mother eventually passed away from a mysterious illness when Maria was just about Wakko's age. Her grandfather is now in charge of her.
She Cleans Up Nicely: Maria actually looks pretty in a dress, even though she hates dressing up.
Shipper On Deck: She Ships Pinky with the Clydesdale Pharfignewton.
Tomboy & Girly Girl: Is the tomboy to Dot & Hello Nurse's girly girls.
Trademark Favorite Food: Loves Italian food, especially Lasgana.
