-And so 2 out of 13 acts have done their thing. and we new who started.
(and who flew all the way to see her kid who is an exchange student)
Next time we'll focus less on the acts and continue the story and acts will be background noise. 
But we needed to establish the setting and I think we've managed that

I saw Krystoff's troll mom in the audience looking so happy. AWW! He should have had a stuffed Sven doll on stage with him, it would have made it work even better.
Then I saw Jim with his mom. That was sweet. I doubt silver will appear even as a cameo (the rules you set up, I take it).
And then Merida"s dad and I think that was her mom next to him, but where are the triplets? At home?
And Gothel and Frollo frowning the entire time. Nothing is EVER good enough for them (I was half hoping Frollo would have looked amused at the flames Al a Hellfire). If those two deride Rapunzel and Quazi's acts, I hope they get ripped a new one!
