It would seem Ariel found some “normal” clothes. I am gonna bet she borrowed them from a sister or more. She’s cute whatever she wears but I still see why Eric is disappointed.
I am sure she is shy around him for real, but I also believe she isn’t a shy person in general...being quiet must still be difficult.
Poor Eric, feeling her awkward efforts and not knowing what to make of them and so becoming nervous himself... poor guy. So oblivious.

You obviously missed my revieuw to the last chapter so I'm secretly adding some of that in this one so you'll have to read it anyway. I waited this long just to make sure that you would read this one.
I love that Eric seems to have noticed her before and even seems a bit insecure about his 'dullness'. I wouldn't call being in a band dull thought. But he clearly knows a bit about Ariels real self because of how 'present' she usually is. She's hard to mis. And Ariel he just meant that you have a nice speaking voice. He doesn't know about your singingvoice... Yet.
It's great that three of the four (or wait how many of those relationships are we suposed to realy pay attention to?) main relationships can start to progres.
Thought come to think of it unless i missed something Adam was never proven wrong in his assumption that Milo had a thing for Belle (at the concert) that might still make for a funny misunderstanding, because we (the readers) know that Belle and Millo are only friends but he doesn't.
OMG or Gaston! If it's either one or the other then let Adam beat up Gaston!!! No one insults a girl and calls Adams wrath upon himself like Gaston.
And Eric have you figured out that Val isn't who she was trying to led you to believe she was?

smart with the waiting, not getting mixed up in he slew of comments (I am so happy and hounred and happy and pleased about) that I get right after I post a DHS comic.
Yes Eric is in a band, and he does play the guittar but he isn't very laud or centred regardning it, he isn't lead singer, he isn't a very flamboaint person. He's in a bad to play music, not to be noticed.
Being next to a girl who (ushally) seems like she wants to be noticed and is very flamboyand and out there and is a big personality... it's intimidating when your not. Eric is not and today Ariel isn't either and that's offsetting.
He isnt very self assure and quite oblivious about his looks and pull so the fact that she is off kilter because he is there would never occur to him. He is a sweetheart.
You haven't missed anything, Adam has not been proven wrong, neither has Kida if you are keeping score.

Just figured it out a second ago: The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast (FANTASTIC movies)
Its nice to know where the central story is now. Its boggling when there is so much potential to be focused on.
Can I make a request? Could you make a reference to Fantasia sometime - perhaps in a background poster? Fantasia and its 2000 counterpart could be big time theater performances in this universe.
Will there be a future scene where Quasimodo sneaks Esmeralda over to his house (does Quasi have a picture of his birth mother)? It was never said out loud but Frollo obviously put her on the Black List. Do they get caught, or does Essie sneak out in time? What are Frollo's feelings towards Esmeralda in your universe, considering he's a happily married man. I know I'm asking for a bit of spoiler, but its just a scene I really want to see

just a question: which NEW pairings are going to show up? You are focusing on Belle and Adam (obviously), Ariel and Eric, Rapunzel and Eugene (miss them T.T), we already saw Hercules and Meg (btw I loved how you adapted the plot of Hercules in your doujin), a pint of Kida and Milo (I LOVE them, so cute, Milo is a sexy geek! and Kida is all kinds of awesome, fighter, royalty, leader, smart and fun), a bit of Jasmine and Aladdin just for the taste (got be honest the only thing about the MOVIE that I like is the genie ^^, but 'A Whole New World' is one of my favorite disney princess' songs EVER only losing to 'Beauty and the Beast' that is unbeatable of course and 'I see the Light' that is just perfect), QuasimodoXEsmeraldaXPhoebos just for the taste too...
I think that this is it.... will there be NEW couples? Or are you done introducing characters and background and going to keep the spotlights on Belle, Ariel and Rapunzel?

OMG yay new page. Finally some Ariel and Eric action going on. Definitely like their inner monologues and the way each of them think about the situation. Poor Ariel attempting to be "normal". Hopefully somehow Eric will help her realize that he's into her awesome adorable geeky self. The two of them are so clueless about their feelings for each other. And since we've had a Belle/Adam page with them reading their chosen book, I'm expecting a Flynn/Rapunzel page next. Of course, if i'm wrong that's totally okay, because you've got tons of characters to play with and probably lots of plots going on. Keep up the amazing work as always.
