She was in fact designed to be original and not fit in with any kind of preexisting dragon. She's not even a hexadragon, she has wings, making her an....octadragon? XD

Oh lordy, this is absolutely gorgeous, and pure genius. I keep staring at it, unable to form a coherent sentence that describes just how magnificent this is. All the time you spent on it .. WELL worth it.
I do have ONE criticism, though - I keep seeing the benefits of the 'hole' in the wing-membrane (where the extra set of hands can sort of reach through, etc.), but when I look at that view from above, there's a certain point where it looks like it is stretched way too thin, and any suddenly movement / extension / too much pressure would cause it to break.

Actually, I made the membrane go down the shoulder for that reason.The wing skin actually folds over in the front, to sort of protect the hand as well, but you cant see it too good there because the insides of the wings are white. I also take it that you didn't download to fullview, or else you would have seen it, so you didn't look too hard.

I was looking at the full-view the entire time I was making the comment, so yes, I did notice it, ehe. (I'm looking at the full view now, too - And thank you for the actual pixel image, I appreciate it!)

Still, even the 'extra wing skin' could easily break, especially during rough flights, as well as the trickier of fights. (I keep getting the frightening mental image of some rough creature taking something sharp sticking it through the membrane-opening and slicing it.. *cringe!*)
Its an intruiging idea, of course. It would seem that the dragon could function just as well without the extra wing membrane; i.e. trimming it down to the point where there isn't a need for the hole at all, y'know?
Heh, of course, this is mostly just rambling / suggestions on my part. She is (both of your's) creature(and a fantasy creature, at that) and you both have every right to make the dragon look however you want her to. :} I just thought I'd throw that out there, since you both seem to be leaning towards making the dragon as realistic / able-to-function-in-reality as possible.
