All-seeing Time god Clockwork
The war was lost. Clockwork did his best, but a blow from Destruction’s axe left him wounded. It nearly took out his eye and all but destroyed his left time branch and hourglass, rendering it useless. But at least he had killed the bastard for what he had done.
The goddess that birthed him; his mother - Creation, killed in cold blood by her very own husband; his father - Destruction.
He couldn’t save her. No matter how hard he fought or how fast he flew and how much he stopped time, that bastard still broke free and killed her!
So as time went on, Clockwork became cold and distant. he isolated himself in his tower as punishment for not being able to save his mother. He believed it was his fault she died; it really wasn’t.
So kept no contact with either of the remaining gods and ONLY spoke to The Observants when it was NECESSARY, no more than that.
He doesn’t deserve to be happy, right?
Well if that were true, then he wouldn’t be fondly watch his son open his first deathday present now would he?
