These are the incredible pillars of the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto, Japan. The shrine was incredibly busy on the day I visited, so I had almost given up hope of getting a photo looking down the path with no people.As we where leaving there was a break in the crowd and I managed to get the shot I was after!! The shrine climbs all the way to the top of the mountain, it's a tough walk but well worth the effort.
