(godzilla pummels them all , dismantling the robot and using it's severed arm to beat all 3 of them up , then beats down the monster , then the big leader attempts to ram godzilla , but godzilla grabs the big leader by the horns and yanks it's head off and holds it above his head in victory as he stands amongst the corpses of his enemies and roars in victory)ο»Ώ

Godzilla looks so badass in this pic! haha I grew up watching the movies, made me admire him so much as a kid. Thanks to Godzilla, I didn't fear monsters as a kid. I welcomed them because I'd imagine if they showed up, Godzilla would come to protect me. lol

Basically yes, the director made the new movie with the original 1954 movie in mind. If you haven't seen the trailer for the movie I suggest you do, it's AMAZING!!!
